As things now stand........... So much has happened since I first wrote all that inspiring stuff in LET'S TALK SENSE. A huge hole has been carved out of the tip of Manhattan, taking it with it thousands of wonderful, innocent people, hundreds of valiant policemen and firefighters, and destroying before our eyes in a matter of a few minutes the gigantic symbols of America's economic power and military strength. And all this by a small handful of young fanatics willing to give their lives to "teach us a lesson". And they were able to do this right under our noses with no other arms than our own commercial aircraft. America's reaction was totally understandable...initial numbed shock, disbelief, anger, heartbreaking grief, and then a mammoth display of flag-waving patriotism and heightened support for the government of our unelected president. How could anyone do this to us? We are a loving, generous nation. We give unstintingly to needy people all over the world. We send our boys to fight for the freedom of occupied countries. And we ARE!!! All this is true!!! But we are also the most uninformed people of the planet, it seems, when it comes to seeing and understanding what our government has done and is still doing in our name. What used to be an honest, fearless and investigative press in America is now nearly entirely controlled by the greedy, corporate media. What we see and hear on radio and TV and read in our newspapers is what the media are told to show and tell us and print......told by their corporate owners who, with their vulgar campaign contributions, have bought and paid for the privilege to control not only the actions of our representatives, but also the minds of this great country. Those of us who search for the truth on the internet and in foreign papers can see what's happening. But if we speak up and try to tell others, we are branded as unpatriotic...as traitors!! God only knows how long the present madness will last, but it must end one day....and when it does, my simple little innocent plan for regaining control of our country can take off again. My hope is that the truth will come out slowly, the flag-waving fervor will ease off, and Americans will demand some answers to WHY it all happened. Please.....stay in touch...write me your
