So Now What????

Hi y'all.........

So many of you have asked me how this whole debacle is playing in Europe.

I can tell you from a European point of view that the people here are dumbfounded...open-mouthed....incredulous....and VERY disappointed. They have already agreed that Bush is a dingbat idiot and that he is surrounded by warmongering, greedy villains. But what they're having trouble accepting is the support of the Americans for this evil crowd. The morning after the elections several people called me to commiserate and ask me "What now?".....as if I could tell them. I had to double my dose of anti-depressants. Did you see the protest march in Florence?

My only hope is the knowledge that Mussolini was eventually beheaded and hanged by his heels in the public square, and Hitler blew his brains out!!

My personal opinion is that we HAVE to find the evidence of Bush's complicity in 9/11 and maybe even the plane crash and the sniper. This kind of proof is something the gullible Bush supporters will have to consider (I hope). When he admitted that he "knew", I am convinced that it was a damage control maneuver....better to admit gross negligence than complicity.

Why else are they fighting tooth and nail to avoid an honest investigation?

And I am also convinced that calling for the congressional vote on the war right before the elections was used to divide the voters. Rove knew the Democrats could be cowed into supporting Bush for fear of not being re-elected. And he was certainly aware of the antiwar temperament of most of the people from the avalanche of emails that had been sent. I will never understand why the Democrats that supported the bill wanted so badly to be re-elected to represent us when they DON'T represent us.

The Bush people, Rove in particular who orchestrates all of Bush's political strategies, were counting on that. And then, of course, the dirty work in the elections....Cheeze...they've got this country sewed up.

My last trip to the USA was before the presidential "elections"...and much as I love my country and my family and friends over there.....I have no plans for ever going there again.

It's no longer the wonderful country I served and loved.....SAD!!!!!
